Ylang Ylang

Ancient Origin:
In Indonesia, the flowers were spread on the beds of newly married couples. It has since become known as the aphrodisiac oil, and for this reason is often used in the perfume industry.

Source:
A tall tropical tree which grows up to 20 meters high, with large, tender fragrant flowers. Strangely the flowers can be (on the same tree) yellow, pink or mauve, but only the yellow flowers are considered good enough for the extraction of oil. Native to tropical Asia, especially Indonesia and the Philippines.

Useful for:
Primarily for relaxing but also excellent for easing anxiety, insomnia and (naturally) frigidity.

Usual method of use:
As a bath oil, in an oil burner, in shampoo and as a perfume.

To stimulate hair growth:
Add 20 drops to l00ml of unscented shampoo to aid hair growth as an added benefit your hair will look and smell fantastic. - truly exotic.

To create an enticing body scent:
Add 20 drops to 20ml of Sweet Almond oil or jojoba oil, add Lemon, Patchouli or Jasmine for highly individual and mind blowing smells.

To dispel anger:
Is someone you know frustrated or angry, put a few drops of this oil in the oil burner, it will help to calm the mood.

Make the worlds most erotic massage oil:
Blend with Lavender, Rosemary and Lemon oils (no more than 10%) in Sweet Almond oil.

To ease depression and release stress:
Rub a small amount of the above massage oil in to the palms of both hands and then breath deeply through cupped hands. It helps if you close your eyes and dream of exotic tropical beaches.
