Tai Chi Postures
Tai Chi heals the body by sending internal energy
flow to each functional organ, via the acupuncture meridians.
The movement of each posture in the Form directs chi to a different
organ. Some organs are more important than others. Therefore,
some of the postures double up and send the energy to the same
area. The list below is a small sample of the possible positions
and uses of tai chi to heal the body.

the eliminative organs of the body, i.e. colon, large intestine,
etc. Also treat constipation.

Treat the digestive tract and
heal arthritic joints.

spinal column more elastic.
Retreat Shoulder
Treat the central nervous system.
Expand the back and chest.
Stork Spreads Wings
Treat the central nervous system
and the full length of the vertebrae.
Brush Knee and Twist Step
Treat the heart, lower digestive
tract and stomach disorders.
