Absentee Reiki Healing

This is taught in the first degree reiki sessions and involves sending reiki or healing energy at a distance. This can be done be either having a photograph of the person, a teddy bear to represent the person and for advanced healers just the image of the person in their mind is enough to send healing over distance.

It is important to comprehend three laws, the universal law, the law of correspondence and the law of similarity. The universal law simply states that an attuned person can call upon the unseen and hidden energy forces around themselves to help send healing to a certain individual. This is a law that I am firm believer of as I believe that angelic, celestial or even simple environmental energy forces can be used to direct healing to a person. The law of correspondent states that all humans are connected in some shape or form, as we have all been originally created form the same source. The law of similarity states that an item of clothing, smell or even a memory of a person that bears a resemblance to that person can be used to for physic purposes to direct healing at that person.

The actual reiki session needs to be taught by a reiki master however a synopsis would be that a reiki student must complete their own individual cleansing process to be ready to send healing. They must then make the intention that they are sending healing to a certain person, naming that person. If you have a photograph or a representation of that person you can hold this close to your heart. As the heart is the key to the soul and also emits the greatest energy field. This also enables you to create a loop of energy from your heart to the object back to your heart.

It may help to visualize that person in front of you or even sitting on a soft sofa. This helps to focus the energy in a specific area. You can then commence to send healing; some people find that placing the object over different parts of your body to send healing to that person body part helps to localize the healing. For example of you wish to send healing to your father's troublesome knee you can place the picture of your father over your knee to localize the healing process. I personally like to imagine the person in front of me and visualize that my hands are touching certain parts of there body to focus the healing to that area. Depending on how much natural physic ability you have this process can be a profound experience. It is not unheard of that a healer can spiritually manifest themselves around the person you are sending healing to resulting in you being able to smell or even see the person in question.
